My friend Marie posted this up on facebook last night. Thought I’d put it up here. Its kinda cool to hear Nat “King” Cole get down on some Tagalog. The accent is pretty far off, but apparently, he learned the song in one day.

I’ve know Goose for years… He’s an extremely dope, slept on DJ. Old school mentality. Yes he owns vinyl, been in DJ battles, rocked clubs, as well as mobiles. He sent me the link to his recent mix. Dope soulful music. Clean blends, nice cuts, definitely something to to vibe to.

I was watching Jimmy Fallon again last night. As corny as he is, he can’t really go wrong with The Roots. Last night Tom Jones performed Never with the Roots as his band for the performance.

I mentioned it on facebook and twitter as I was watching, and my homie Scharisse told me bout this track he did with Portishead.




Emmanuelle Chriqui was also on the show last night… Yup, she’s pretty hot.

I’m watching VH1 Soul right now, and they’re showing SWV – “You’re The One”. I remember when it first came out and I picked up the wax. The girls loved that song! But… since everyone is on a Michael Jackson kick right now, remember this one? Super dope sample and use of Human Nature.

Came across this on someone else’s blog.  Sorry, forgot which one, otherwise, I’d shout it out.  Remember that show The OC?  Can’t think of anything else she’s been in, but yeah, she’s pretty hot.

Last Friday I DJed at Sugarfoot @ The Verdugo Bar.  The resident DJ happens to be none other than Hey Mesa.  One half of the Cocaine Kids, and Original member of Livitup Productions.  If you know me, then you should know Livitup is my original DJ crew.  If you couldn’t make it out last Friday, You can download these mixes.  Just like I did with the re-MOVE mix, its not live from the event, but its live from home.  Scratch Lives keeps a good history if what you played, so I took that list and recorded these, as close to how I did it that night, as possible.  In part 2 I threw in an extra song.  If you were there, see if you can pick it out.  Anyways.. download and have fun.
